im unfamiliar with just about every japanese kit since i never built one. does anyone know if ther is any audi kit with a detailed engine.

or if an a4 or s4 kit was made. i know revell of germany did an a4 but it was the race version

Burago make/made a A5 metal body kit. Other than that all I know is the R8 and A4 DTM car.

I've looked high and low for an A4 kit and expect ra7c7er is correct.

QuickSkins did a great Audi A4 years ago.

I have been trying to get Joe to redo it, we'll see.

if you really have deep pockets, Hobby Design does a full detail resin kit of a more current or current TT. online pricing is around $190 for that kit.

You know the story behind the Hobby Design resin TT?

I kid you not...it is a common ~$15-$20 Welly diecast model that they took apart and recast in resin. Period. Hobby Design...caveat emptor, big time

Welly has done quite a few modern Audis in 1/24 scale; the current A4, A3, TT, Q5, Q7, R8. I think Burago does an RS4. Diecast companies sell them, they're on Ebay.

The only modern Audi plastic kits are the A4 DTM car and the R8, and the R10 LeMans racer. There will be an R8 Spyder this summer.

NICE! i've used Hobby Designs decals and i like them. recently i noticed that they were offering alot of wheels and tires and decided to give a set of the tires a shot. the wheels in the online images i've seen don't look all that great and are a little rough. the tires looked good however until i got the ones i ordered. i now have a set of directional Advans that will fit only one side of the car oh well, back to square one.

Some of their stuff; decals, metal transfers, are fine. But their resin quality isn't great. Their 599XX transkit...all the parts undersized, etc. etc. Wheels that are kind of rough...Aston DBS wheels with "female" connectors instead of Tamiya "male" connectors...

thanks everyone. i really wanted an audi motor for a vw or just an a4. welly diecast look like the way to go. and just looked up the quick skins a4. thats pretty much exactly what i was looking for except i wanted a full interior car
