Romell R Posted July 14, 2011 Author Posted July 14, 2011 Thx for all the compliments fellas I was able to get some small parts done last night so heres a small update for ya. hope you enjoy. these are the rear axle collars here thier all bolted up and ready for the break assembly this is the rack & pinion And this is what happens when you dont plan ahead......Of course i'll clean this up but I wanted you to see the value of planning. Come back soon ya hear....

I was able to get the rack and pinion done heres a small update for ya. enjoy This is where the steering rod with come thru the firewall.... come back for more later............

You are a awesome craftsman! I'd like to see pictures of that table mill. And do you have a jewlers lathe or something? You work magic with metal and plastic.

Look forward to your next update Randy Hey Thx Randy I'm really looking forward to your next installment on your rat rod, oh and the chassis is almost 16 inches exactly from front to wheelie bars. Well fellas here's my next update. i was able to finish the steering linkage and get the rear brakes started here are the pics I hope you enjoy from this tube I cut ......... these two rings and then soldered them to a sheet of brass...... then i soldered that assembly to 2 smaller tubes & cut them off this formed the axles then these were soldered to larger dics that I cut from brass and this makes up the brake assembly Although not finished this is where it will be installed... please be sure to come back for more................
