Mexican Grand Prix driver Pedro Rodriguez drove this car at the SCCA national meeting in Green Valley, where he won a B-Production race beating the factory prototype of Jerry Titus.

I wanted to build something different...something not seen every day. I took a few "creative liberties". I mistakenly glued the gas cap filler cover on prior to painting white...as a result I could not paint the stripes all the way down the back of the car, because I could not get the masking to fit correctly around that piece. The stripes would have been crooked.

I also added a couple decals and used the numbers from the kit (98 versus 18...though I did see pics of this car in a slightly different schema with a different number).

Other than the number decals, the rest were made on my inkjet. The LeMans stripes were masked off and painted.

Now onto a 66 Mustang convertible that will be Emberglow in color.

That's so you can read it if the driver flips it!

He's just making sure we are awake. Sharp eye!

Oh, very nice build! the doors look good. The engine bay looks nice without looking too busy.

Really nice Race Car! I like the paintjob, it looks very good. Decals are nice, and they fit nicely to the body shapes. Detailing on the engine looks amazing, and overall look is very great. Tires and wheels are very nice too, I like it. <_<

Nice paint job, is that Wimbledon White or brighter? I'm currently building a WW '67 which is why I'm asking.

Love to jump in that thing for a few laps, you mind?
