My head is still spinning from Chuck's "Football Four" a couple pages ago! :)

My normally aspirated 944 engine is my favorite I've done. Maybe just because it's different.

Oh? So "external combustion" engines are allowed huh?

Here is the NYC 20th Century Limited. The most beautiful engine ever built in my opinion.

Boiler pressure 225psi

Weighs in at 365,500lbs

That's a beautiful locomotive, but my favorite is the Southern Pacific Daylight engines. The 4449 is nearly sacred to die-hard railfans.

This is a fun thread! How about "High and Mighty"? The Ramchargers first effort and a test bed for the ram induction idea.

Ok, since the railfans have jumped in, here are a couple of my favorites!

The Union Paciifc 4-8-8-4 "Big Boy", and this is a Revell AG (ex Monogram SnapTite) 1/87 scale kit.

The Shay, this one is a Spectrum unit that is done with markings for my all time favorite places to visit, Cass Scenic Railroad in Cass, WV.

The two side by side.

Back to internal combustion, this is my all time favorite and wish I had a vehicle large enough to drop one into, the Detroit Series 60.

My favorite is the Porsche 917/30. This image is from the Peter Morgan book "Porsche 917 - The Winning Formula"

Kind of hard to beat this, tunable upto 1650 HP in an 1800lb car 0-60 1.9 0-100 3.7 0-200 10.9 top speed 250 + mph, closed circut world record holder for more than a decade at 227 mph ave, 917K still holds fastest lap at Le Mans 137 mph ave.

I am sure his wife wasn't happy that he used a large amount of the house's HAVAC and plumbing to build it. LOL

I like all the people standing around looking at it... clearly they don't know just what to make of it.
