The plan with this model was to build it in one weekend...I found that impossible for myself. It took me two weeks and there are many areas I rushed on and or messed up. I will never try this again  Color is Boyds dusty rose pearl.

This one looks really nice! Old School IS cool!!! Great color choice and really nice paintjob. Stance is perfect, and I like those steelie wheels, especially when they are painted body color. Engine looks really good too, and I like the chassis.

Gee whiz the hospitality on this site is awesome....I love how everyone is positive and feeds off each other. Thanks guys and while I'm certainly happy with this model kit I'm not a two week builder  I realize patience and detail are really where its at for me and I skipped every bit of that on this car. The first round of paint went horrific and I had to easy off and start over. This color fought me the whole way(again because of rushing) ,but wow Is it perfect or what. It really pops in the sun. Cranky and Niko you two see exactly what I intended to build and that is very rewarding. I got bit by the hot rod fever and I'm getting a bad case of the sweats fellas. Thanks again everyone for the comments

######,I wish my rushed 2 week builds looked that good.

I was just thinking the same thing. Hell, my two-year builds usually don't come out this nice!

Great color choice, and very nice undercarriage.

Thanks guys sure means a lot coming from all of you. Rob I didn't really have any build issues with the kit...I was not super thrilled with the 2pc frame ,but in order to get the exhaust threw the frame that's how it has to be done. My frame just seemed to be warped and kept popping apart.. There are many ways to fix this correctly ,but I choose the more super glue method haha. I loved that this model had tons of different options such as grilles and fender skirts. Here I used the louvered hood and mocked up the skirts just for fun. There were also hubcaps and spotlights for a period correct custom. Thanks again everyone

Thanks guys I would have to agree with you Ken on the skirts...they were simply to show what the kit came with. The smooth hood and no skirts is the way she is staying. Also was not a huge fan of the hubs that came on this kit.....they were just to big and did not show enough of the painted steel wheel for me. The whole time I had planned to do the hub caps and skirts as well as the spotlights on the cowl for more of a custom look, but as things came together I liked it more simple and hot rod. I will certainly be buying another one and spending a little more time on it. Already got my colors.....dark green metallic outside and white on the interior. Thanks again for the kind words everyone
