62rebel Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 ahhh.... now that's what RACING was in the day. fine build, sir.
Wayne Buck Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Beautifully done, Mark! I love those old NASCAR racers! Thanks for sharing!
Kmidd65 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Very nice model, Mark! I really enjoy seeing some of the old "Dark Side" Nascar builds. They are a bit before my time but I always find them interesting. Your '56 is very clean and bright!
bbowser Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Another great build, Mark. I love your choice of subjects and the execution is flawless. Thanks for sharing and keep 'em coming!
W-409 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 WooHoo, this looks very good. I like the paintjob very much, shiny and smooth. Decals fit very nicely, and great job with that side trim. I like the stance, great job with it. Wheels and tires are great also. Really beautiful NASCAR racer, I'd like to build one older Nascar from the 40's or 50's. Maybe early 60's too.
Sixties Sam Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I'm not a real NASCAR fan, but I like models of the old cars from when stock car racing used basically stock cars. This Ford is a beauty! Great work! Sam
arby1949 Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Nice job. Love the "old" racers. Yours looks awesome. As a side note, I live in Roanoke, Va, where Curtis was from. Never met him though. Rick
