Erik Smith Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Ah...first finished model after the summer break from building. This is Revell's 1964 T-bolt kit. I lowered it, added full wheel covers from AMT's 69 Galaxie, tires are from Revell's 49 Mercury, and most of the rest is OOB. Interior is donned with Marimekko fabric (or a decal version of). Paint is Duplicolor Hampstead Green and Universal Black. Interior is Duplicolor white.
Janne Herajärvi Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Very nice. Maybe one of finest models ive seen built from this kit. Keep up great work
george 53 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Now this is TOTALLY different, A lo rider Thunderbolt!!! Came out VERY nice. GREAT color combo!!!
W-409 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Wow, I agree with Janne, this is maybe the best model I've seen built from this kit. Custom style fits nicely to this. And that engine detailing is awesome. Marimekko fabric decal, you used, is Finnish design, that's why it maybe looks so good. Great build, very nice idea of making this Thunderbolt Custom version. Paintjob is really nice and I like te color too. Stance is great, wheels and tires are very nice too.
Ryan S. Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Wow, sweet ride! Nice color choice. The curb feelers are a nice touch too!
Draggon Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Erik that is one great model! I dig how you combined several styles, it works perfectly. I love this so much!
Greg Pugh Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I almost didn't click on this because my first thought was "Who'd make a lowrider out of a Thunderbolt?" but then I clicked on it anyway. Glad I did. This is superbly build. Extra clean, nice color combo. Standing ovation. Well done!!
bigphoto Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 While not a Low Rider fan it is a most excellent clean build.
trogdor Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Very nice. Are those curb feelers on there too
Dr. Cranky Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Clean, gorgeous model. Amazing finish. Belongs in a museum. Beautiful.

Antikainen Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I thought I had an unique idea of building a low rider T-bolt. I googled if anyone had build something similar and found your impressive model. Nice work indeed! I like your way of using Finnish design on your model .

Chuck Most Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Just plain absolutely gorgeous! I especially dig the curb feelers.
