JamesW Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I think I finished 4.............. and started 15 or so. lol
Wayne Buck Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I think I have 4 that I would call "Finished". As far as mock-ups, 1/4 done, 1/2 done, 3/4 done, and everywhere in between... Let's just say I have a little problem there.
JustBill Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I've got one complete as of now and hope to have my second one complete by no later than next week. Its been a slow to no building kind of year for me. Tough year, hard to find time.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Wow, you guys have been prolific. I think what would be great would be to show a group portrait of everyones' builds. You know me, I'm always calling for more eye candy. More cow bell, more eye candy!

Man, did this strike a nerve! I'd hate to see a 'fever' chart showing my models built compared to models purchased - Worse, I'd hate for my wife to see it!
martinfan5 Posted December 7, 2011 Author Posted December 7, 2011 Dr. i like that idea, I am starting to want to see more eye candy as well, I need some new ideas and inspiration once in awhile

Kaleb Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 My purchase outran my build count. Andy wife knows every purchase... And yes I still have my man card. But I can safely say I completed 3 snaps 5 reg kits with a few flaws needing worked out. And hopefully 4 more by the end of the year. Most of those are close.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Brett, you've been very busy feeding us some amazing eye candy all year. Tonio too, and so many others . . . and I hope you guys will keep 'em coming in 2012.
rhs856 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 This was my first year building and I finished 8. I have 4 or 5 others that were started and not finished (usually due to body paint issues/ me getting burnt out. And since the good doctor needs eye candy to evaluate my affliction, here are my symptoms of Acute Styrene Syndrome :

Cool Hand Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 10 Completed so far, hoping to get atleast 2 more finished before the year ends. Seeing as the Doc asked for some eye candy, these are my favourites for the year
Guest Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I've got six finished so far with three in the home stretch. I should be able to get at least two of those done before the year is over. I've got around thirty in various stages of completion.
W-409 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I can't say anything yet. I can finish at least two models in 2011, if I get decals soon, and if there everything else goes as I want. But Pretty much finished models, I'm very happy about what I've done this year.

I got two finished so far this year, but that Bullitt I'm building will get done if nothing else. Here's a Tamyia Nissan 350Z that was almost finished before January 1,2011,but that I picked back up and finished... and here's how it looks now, after the house fire back in June... And this snapper '85 Dodge Daytona Turbo (Non-Z)... When I get the Bullitt done,I'll add a pic of it here (and any others...as if )
weasel Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 i hope to just finish one by the end of the year...lol the first since late '05 early '06...
Tonioseven Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I forgot I did the paint & foil on this one for a buddy...
Mooneyzs Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 (edited) My build could for this year isnt much compared to everyone else here. I have completed a 1/25th scale Super Comp Dragster early this year (which I need to post pick in under glass section still) I was able to finially paint (earlier this year) my 1/16 scale Front Engine Dragster that I had stared 14 years ago. I still have more to do to complete it but its almost there (hoping to have it done by february) then the only other kit I have been working on is my 1/16 scale Army funny car which was started back in March of this year (progress of this is over in the drag racing section) and hoping to have completed by April 2012 for the desert scale classic, was trying to shoot for Feb 2012 for the NNL west in Santa Clara but do to rework of the chassis and my work schedule probably wont have it done til April, but will still plan on bringing what I have done on it to NNL. Wagoneer81 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 This wasn't my greatest year, what with medical problems, moving and losing Mom in August... I think my final tally is : 5- 1/72 scale aircraft 1- 1/72 scale motorcycle 2- 1/25 scale cars 1- 1/350 scale Minicraft Titanic...
