This model has been on and off my workbench for the past 20 years.

It is from "SJS Resins" a company that hasn't been around for 20 plus years.

A relatively rough casting of a unique subject matter. It took a lot of work to get it presentable.Used the AMT 3100 Chevrolet Pickup as the base kit, just had to stretch the chassis to get the wheels/tires to fit. Biggest issue was the warpage between the upper and lower body, readily apparent from a rear 3/4 view. Paint is Model Master's Bright Aqua Pearl Lacquer No.28115 with a couple of UltraGloss Clearcoats.

Had to put something in the bed of the truck,

so...now I had a reason to finish building the Go-Kart from Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland

Overall, I'm happy with the final result...

very cool , it is somewhat comforting to see that you also have projects that take awhile to get done.because you usually just fly through assembly :D
