cruz Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Steelers fan no matter what, we'll be back once we get these injuries off our backs.
Rob Hall Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I'm still a Steelers fan, though it's been 30+ years since I lived in the area. And a Broncos fan from 12 years in Colorado.
High octane Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I made money on today's games and I really don't care who wins as long as it's me.
'08SEAL Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Awwwww yeah! Steelers are awesome and I never knew that there were so many steelers fans on here...
martinfan5 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Cowboys fan here, I was born in a Dallas suburb and my granfather made sure I would grow being a Cowboys fan.
Dragline Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I enjoyed every minute of that game yesterday. Tebow time came to an end in proper fashion. Now NE has to deal with the Ravens who are my pick to win the AFC game today. Living in Baltimore and being a lifelong NE fan has been tricky to say the least. Bob
JustBill Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 The Steelers can do away with there injury problems if they would quit going out every weekend and running around like a bunch of wild banshies!! My son is a Steelers fan so I gotta here it all the time! Being from Baltimore I'm expecting the Ravens to win today and go up against NE. However I'm not confident they will beat NE next week as it will be at NE and Ravens away games are at a high school level. I don't get it
Dragline Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 And let's not forget it was The New England Patriots who went into Superbowl XLII undefeated and lost to the NY Giants. Most of the pundits said NE were invincible [i was hoping they were], but NY had other plans. While the loss still stings we NE fans it proves no team should be crowned kings till it's over. That's why they play the games. And Tom Brady's numbers were staggering much like young Mr Rogers are. Bob

As much as Detroit fans what to whine about it. Just an excuse for a good team losing and it takes away from all that The Lions have accomplished when the fans do that. if you look at who the Packers were playing (as in their players) you cannot even use that game as an indicator of what they will do today!
Qwit Pushin Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Being a 49er fan,I was so happy to see them get back to what they once were. Now I hope that the Giants can take care of Green Bay and we'll get another home game. Also glad to see Tebow go down only so that ESPN can finally shove another player down our throats,I hate ESPN. Don't count on it,.....GO PACK GO!!! Seriously though, may the best team win, Good luck!
imatt88 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Go Pack! But I must admit, I'm worried about their defense, the G-Men are hot right now

ranma Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 ??? The NFL sends the teams that win the playoffs to the Super Bowl! Harry, explain to me how the ref's blew calls causing the Browns to loose Weabster Shalter caught the ball clearly inbounds yet called out besides that cleveland dont bring as much$as the Packers ect.

Same refs have all the missing Johan tools.......
Harry P. Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Harry, explain to me how the ref's blew calls causing the Browns to loose Weabster Shalter caught the ball clearly inbounds yet called out besides that cleveland dont bring as much$as the Packers ect. If you're saying that the refs are instructed by the NFL to call penalties against certain temas so that certain teams win and certain teams lose, and that the big-market teams make it to the Super Bowl, I'd say you have a major problem with conspiracy theories! A couple of years ago it came out that one particular ref in the NBA was rigging his calls because he had bet on the outcome of the games that he was reffing, and he got in big trouble because of it. There's no way the NFl could organize such a huge scheme among the refs and expect that the secret would never come out. And even if they could do it (which is impossible), there's no way the NFL would risk the league's reputatiion if the scheme ever became public. There are billions of dollars at stake in the success of the NFL... they're not going to try and rig the system so that only the big market teams make the Super Bowl. Maybe the Browns never make it to the big game because they're just not good enough! And besides... it looks like the Packers will be in it. They're about the smallest market NFL team there is. The 49ers beat the Saints and knocked them out. I'm sure the NFL would rather have seen Drew Brees and the Saints go on instead of the 49ers. If there was some sort of conspiracy in place, the Saints would have beaten the 49ers, because Drew Brees and the Saints would be a much bigger TV draw than the 49ers and their quarterback, who's name I don't even know!
martinfan5 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Harry, wasnt one of the teams that was effected by that ref my hometown Suns, I stoped caring about basketball a long time ago, but I remember hearing that.

Harry P. Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Yeah, I was watching the game. Wow... I did NOT see the Giants beating the Packers, especially in Lambeau. But hey, good game by Manning and the guys. They get credit for what I see as a pretty big upset win. Hey Harry, about those Giants Huh!! Thank you Eli,now I get to see the 49ers take care of the Giants and meet Baltimore in the Super Bowl.It will be an all Harbaugh affair, which makes for good TV,I'm just saying. Yep... it's time for me to eat my words!
