hi! guys

i know these are diecast cars and maybe not everyones cup of tea here' but i like to show them and i do plastic models as well.

i did three danbury mint 1/24th scale mercury club coupes as junkers. two are for ebay and the rolled one is for my junkyard diorama. i used some real glass aged and rusted them and made the tires and drums from scratch. on the rolled car i had to remake the hood trunk and ps door and fender from sheet metal in order to get the crumpling effect. some of the interior material is from real old junk cars. i still have a little to do to the rolled car but the others will be on ebay soon. hope some like them. let me know if its to many pictures. :)

Wow, great work

thanks Jonathan

i was looking at your photbucket album and you do some amazing things. i have always wanted to do one of those police interceptors as a junker. i did one as a taxi a few years ago but i sold it. would love to do another if i find one.

Dr. Cranky's eyes will be protruding into space. These are awesome, and among the few builds shown on this forum where a hammer was involved.

Totally agree!

I think the Doc will be in a distant Galaxy..........

The Doctor likes them, yes he does. But how did you dent them up like that, if they are metal? Did you use a hammer?

Very cool work. Thanks for sharing them.

Wow that Merc looks the one in my neighbors yard..... I asked him when he was going to have it removed and he said.... "nope...never.... I'm going to restore that car someday....."... well you get the picture.... Nice work though!!!!

wow, im just amazed at the detail you have put into them, no less the metal work that you have done. simply amazing. B)

Manny, that is incredible work. The detail you added under the hood, in the trunk, and generally throughout the model is just beautiful. I like to see kits built like this as it shows what really happens to most cars by the end.

Hi Manny,...I always enjoy seeing your skillful work. Don't apologise about the 'diecast thing'......my motto is use whatever material is going to give you the best results. It's all model building, and yours are wonderful.
