What kind of primer do you use John?

Posted

I've been watching from afar John, but this is sooo over the top buddy.

The color coats are going to be a challenge and I for one will watch slack jawed as you knock it out.

As always, STUNNING..........

Can you use it as a filler too since its got a hardener? The primer I mean. Like spray on Bondo. Have you tried that?

Hello.......I airbrushed H.O.K. gold base.......masked of the panels ......and shot H.O.K. kandy apple red.......I don`t know how to make decals so I hand painted the graphics on the tank and fender with Apple Barrel acrylic paint......I will add black shading around the edges........they were hand painted on the real bike anyway....... and then I airbrushed the graphics on the rear....... I will clean up all the edges....... then I will give it a clear coat today and tomorrow I will airbrush the graphics on the panels.......thanks for looking.

OK John, NEWBIE question...What exactly is your process for "cleaning up the lines?"

Say it ain't so John...decals are easy

but when you can hand paint the graphics as well as you did - who needs decals

great job

and enjoyed talkin' to ya at the NNL West

WOW, paintjob looks sweet so far! You've always amazed me with those crazy paint jobs, they are cool. Shiny and smooth, maskings are done very nicely and there's no need for removing paint, which is typical for me.
