zaina Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 heres a 40 i built a while back. wired and plumbed. machined goodies made on my lathe. and lowered stance. enjoy!
peter31a Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Indeed that is a classic street rod. Love the machined items and wiring and plumbing. The dash looks pretty nice as well. Job well done sir.
Sixties Sam Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 It's what a street rod should be. Very nice work! The partly rolled down windows are a cool touch. Sam
Badluck 13 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 What can I say...speechless.....beautiful!!!!
my66s55 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Great looking build and the dash looks fantastic.
rmvw guy Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Nice! Like all the lathe work and the dull finish. It all works together.
wraith Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I like it alot!!!! I am not a FORD man, but I do love these 40 Fords! Cars or Pickups!

espo Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I love the detailing on the engine and interior.
zaina Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 Thanks everyone for the kind words. I had fun with this build since it was the first time I really got to play with my lathe. Thanks again. Andy
Mr.Zombie Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Absolutley smashin'. You sir did everything right.
Duntov Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 WOW.... I really like this ... I like that you scratch built many items as well..... GREAT job.... I sure hope you have more like this..... Regards Bill (Duntov)
Dominik Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Cool, classic and clean. Like your Ford *thumpsup*
DustyMojave Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Very nice! I've never been a trend follower, so the Billet Rods and then the overblown rat rods chill me towards hotrods. Both styles have their points. But dad was a hotrodder from way back when and so were a bunch of old friends. All the old dry lakes are close to my home except Bonneville. I can see El Mirage from my back yard and remember being on the lake bed for a lakes meet in 1958. So I "get" what I call "real" Hot Rods like this one.
Roncla Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Thats come out very nice. The sort of 40 you would see tearing up the streets back in the day
Albie D Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Looks straight out of the little pages. The lathe work really sets it off. Cant replicate that with paint..well at least I cant. Awesome.
