RatRod Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 That came out "simply" gorgous Bill!!! The engine detail, stance, and paint are perfect.
Reeves Racing Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 That is very sharp. Very tastefully done.
ShawnS Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Looks fast just standing still. That's is a glorious little VW. Well done.
Bridgebuster Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Really, really sweet build!! Nice job. I had a KG for my first car and I'm planning a streetfighter Ghia with technical assistance and encouragement of none other than VWDave. I LOVE KGs and you've build a real winner there.
David G. Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 That's just plain awesome! A true candidate for the "Real or Model" thread... if we hadn't already seen it. David G.
cruz Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 I have 2 of these kits, after seeing this one I will be purchasing another one!
cortinanut Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Wow, that's nice--toughest looking Karmann Ghia ever. Great concept and execution!
Dominik Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 love it! very nice color, high detailed engine - perfect! looks like a real car. beautiful!
Steven7319 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Gorgeous model I absolutely love everything about it. That's me looking out for this kit! Lol
Wagoneer81 Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Beautiful, and a very unlikely sleeper - because in 1:1, that would be a $15K car with a $150K engine. -MJS And that, my friend, is one of the many wonderful things about building in scale. The unlikely becomes likely when the only real limit is your imagination! I agree, what a beautiful automobile! My LHS has two of these kits on the shelves... I was looking at them really hard, yesterday... I may have to break down and get one.
kruleworld Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 it's actually a model i'd like to see done as a 1:1 car. I like it how it is with the wheels and rake.
Harry P. Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 That's about the slickest K-Ghia model I've ever seen. Beautiful work in every respect.
