As a rule Dragsters don't interest me all that much. But who can resist a slant 6 with webers and flat white pipes. Great Build.

Second that on all counts.

Manuel, this is one of the best FE dragsters I have ever seen. Perfect details for that low-buck feel that you were going for.

I spent nearly a decade as the track photographer at two different drag strips and this reminds my very much of more than one of those low budget racers that run at tracks every week. No dzus fasteners, no billet parts, no braided hoses, built from whatever parts they have lying around, and with more than a little duct tape thrown in for good measure.

Simply beautiful.

And I love your screen name too. That one of my favorite songs of all time.

Let me tell you. I have to keep coming back to look at these pictures. This is an awesome build. I like the build, the subject, the colors, evrything. Well done. Ken

I can't thank everybody enough for all the kind words. It was fun to build something that wasn't trying to be the biggest, baddest, best anything. You really have to stop and think "How would those guys have done it?"

A great concept, and superbly executed! I love it!!

D/Dragsters were seldom big buck affairs but usually passionately done. This represents the class perfectly.
