scalemodeler Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Here's an oldie but goodie! Great kit loved building it! Comment/criticism welcome. Regards, Ed
Chuck Most Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Nice! All I'd do is lower the nose a bit, but other than that it looks like something I'd build.

The collecters kinda get in the way though. When I build another one, I will know that, and pre-plan for it. Thanks for the kind words! Ed
1930fordpickup Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Nice work ! I like the rear fenders, I wish they were in the newer release of this old girl .
Chris M Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 What a killer little build! I'll have to add one of these kits to my old henry iron quota for the year!
hotrod59f100 Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Looks good from my house. And welcome to the forum .
Draggon Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 ######, that is so traditional and sooo nice! I love it!
Dyno Davo Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Yep, that's one cool build. All old school gear I luv it
CanadianKronik Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Nice build, I always like 32's built this way.
Pete L. Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) Really nice build...the chrome rollbar is a simple but eyecatching addition !!! The panel line work really makes the paint pop. Is that the most recent release or one from "back in the day" ? Edited February 29, 2012 by Pete L.
mr moto Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) Welcome aboard! That's a great looking build. I've always loved that kit. The headers are way cool. I have a later issue but the headers aren't in it. Maybe Round 2 will restore it to its original splendor and rerelease. You did it proud! I like the nose up stance. That's period correct for the drag cars of the time when that kit first came out and, of course, street machines copied the drag look. Edited February 29, 2012 by mr moto
Bartster Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Welcome. Nice build. Excellent introduction!!!!
Kustom Rodder Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Sweet lookin vicky nice details liken it alot .
jaymcminn Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 That's definitely got the vintage look. Nice work!
JMD904 Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Love the setup engine wise and the color! Nice job on that '32 Vicky!
scalemodeler Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 Really nice build...the chrome rollbar is a simple but eyecatching addition !!! The panel line work really makes the paint pop. Is that the most recent release or one from "back in the day" ? Thanks for the kind words Pete! This issue was the one from !963/'64 era. Too bad Ertl changed the kit the way they did. I guess it was the thing to do back then.
Danno Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Welcome aboard the board, Ed! Now THAT's the way to introduce yourself! Sweet build. Love the way you detailed and installed the Mercury taillights. They look great.
