Terry Sumner Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Looks great! What's the story behind the number plate?
geetee66 Posted April 1, 2012 Author Posted April 1, 2012 Looks great! What's the story behind the number plate? Glad you like it! I made it using the Acme Licence Plate Maker (http://www.acme.com/licensemaker/), printed onto photo paper and stuck onto the kit part with a bit of Future floor polish. I chose a 62 Iowa plate, purely because it was black on white and this matched my color scheme.
Kanedge Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Very sweet, I love the gloss red / matt black combo.
Olskoolrodder Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 She turned out AWESOME (my new favorite '36 Ford build seen anywhere!)!!! :D
Kustom Rodder Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 That is one sweet 36 nice work on the pe grille.
TheCat Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 That's a really cool looking Coupe. Great job you've done there.
george 53 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Said it before, an I'm sayinit again, you guys across the pond can build REALLY BI*chin copies of our cars!!! I guess a good lookin car is a GOOD LOOKIN CAR, just like yours! GREAT job!!!!!
Raul_Perez Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Very nicely done!! The flat and gloss color combination is pretty cool!! Thanks for sharing,
TedsModeling Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Turned out really nice. You should be proud. I'd love to have a 1:1 like this. I asked earlier about the hood louvers and you gave me a link to Archer Transfers. I see they have different sizes to choose from, but even their smallest (15cm) seems too big. Which size did you use or did you cut them down to fit? Are you simulating a 6" louver or larger?
JasonFL Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 This thing is just sick! I couldn't wait to see the finish product but then I couldn't find it in the under glass section to save my life. You really nailed this build. I'm not sure if I missed it somewhere but what was the red you used, it's perfect.
