tyrone Posted October 25, 2012 Author Posted October 25, 2012 Thanks fellas ...well I wet sanded this one down tonight... had a little bit of trash, lint in the paint... tomorrow I'll lay 2 more coats of paint on it... I'm trying to work on having a better finish, and in the past I've rushed, not giving the paint enough time to dry. or not enough coats of paint ... I'm taking my time on this one... here's a few pics before I started sanding with the doors on... really like how you can see the headers in the door.. not bad for rattle can paint with no clear yet....
Mooneyzs Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Wow Tyrone.... that is looking Sharp man. This paint is looking Killer! I couldn't agree with you more about the whole take your time with the paint and let it fully cure. That would be my piece of advice to anyone when it comes to painting. Take your time and not rush it. This one is to beautiful to rush it. Just awesome bro!
W-409 Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Wow, that paintjob looks much better without clear than my paint jobs with clear! Fantastic work, Tyrone. I really like about the color too and the idea of not to use any paint scheme on this one.

Mooneyzs Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Tyrone... this is one heck of a build man. the grill, trim and painted bumpers look great. I am sure this build will take home some well deserved awards.
Mister Twister Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 You have time Tyrone but don't rush it and mess up a nice paint and graphics job. If you can't get it done in time you still have my favorite build (your last Nova) to put on the table.
1320wayne Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Decals on the black looks great. Can't wait to see this one in person.

Dragracer Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 As Chris said above, the decals & paint on the bumpers came out top-notch, another killer build Tyrone!
