jdcar32 Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I chopped it, opened the doors, and channeled it. The engine is from the Monogram 32 5 window with AMT valve covers. Tranny is parts pack Hydro stick. Big N Littles from the parts drawer. Paint is Tamiya rattle can black over copper and biege. Thanks for looking.
Draggon Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Wow, thats one nice '34. I love everything about it, especially the wheels/tires and its "attitude" . Great work Jon and welcome to the forum.
futurattraction Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Super job! Very clean build... '34 5-windows are one of my favorite old Ford of all time.
Bartster Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Very nice. Understated elegance in black. Reminds me of a tuxedo t-shirt. You wanna look nice, but having fun is more important. I love it!
Jantrix Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I have seen a 1:1 '34 that looks very much like this one, using the copper colors. Whether that was your inspiration or not, you did a fantastic job with this. A perfect traditional rod.
Lyle Willits Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Great job. Very reflective of the bare bones, traditional hot rods.
