Harry P. Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 How about this one? Real or model? The answer: MODEL!
Dr. Cranky Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Model, yes, something about those shadows . . . hum . . .
peter31a Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 I don't think it's rel so I have to go with model....
Draggon Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Model. Something's fishy about the rear quarters, and the wheel opening is wrong.
CorvairJim Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 I'm almost certain that it's not only a model, but that I know exactly which model it is - Partsworks magazine from the U.K. has an ultra-detailed 1/8 scale James Bond Aston Martin DB5 that they are selling to their subscribers on a monthly installment basis. Unfortunately, it isn't available here in the U.S. I know a guy down in Australia on another website who's doing a buildup pictorial on one.
Pete J. Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 (edited) Model - Love the DB 5's. Classic Aston-Martin. Overal perspective just looks wrong. Background it to high. Makes it look like a very low angle shot of a very short subject. Kind of like you see of RC models. Of course, knowing Harry and his ablities with photoshop, he could easily have adjusted the background. Yes, he doesn't photoshop the model, but he has been known to play with the rest of the photo. Mooneyzs Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 I had to go with Model on it. Its what my gut told me right of the bat. But I may be wrong...
W-409 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 I say Model, those Door Lines just don't look realistic. Otherwise it could be real, I think but it looks more like model, well built model for me.
