Casey Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Scott, do Revell and Revell of Germany kits ship to you from the same place? Do they ship together or are they shipped separately from each other? Thanks for the update.
High octane Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Even MORE kits? I'm not done with the ones I already have. It seems like we're in a vicious circle, no?
niteowl7710 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Interesting as HLJ claims to already have the Revell AG Ferrari 599 GTO in stock. Wonder how they rate to get it a month early.

James, not sure if you checked Hobby Search, but its listed as early Sept release and here is a link to a thread on SPCUK of the kit that someone has already http://forum.spc.org...php?f=3&t=19889 HLJ also has the Aoshima Subaru BZR kits listed now http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS00627 http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS00458 Edited September 16, 2012 by martinfan5
Dr. Cranky Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 I am impatiently waiting for the 62 Vette and the 57 Ford.

Do they ship together or are they shipped separately from each other? Thanks for the update. As part of the Preferred Partner's Program, I only get early releases from Revell USA. Maybe now that they are once again owned by the same parent company they might extend that to the RoG items.....but I doubt it. Other than the few kits that Revell sends me early as a preferred partner, I have to purchase any other Revell USA or Revell Germany kits from a wholesaler, I can't buy direct from Revell....well, I probably could, but I think the minimums are much higher.

Wonder how they rate to get it a month early. The release dates I show are for the North American market, which is always last to get new releases unless it is manufactured in the US, which is next to none as far as kit production. Usually a month or so from the time it comes out in other parts of the world until we get it here, plus I think someone like HLJ probably has those kits at least shipped via air from RoG, so they get them quicker, where as the ones on the North American market have to go through Revell USA, and they have them shipped via sea container, which obviously takes much longer. As far as the 599GTO goes....my suggestion is to save your pennies, and wait until it is re-released in a Revell USA box (I believe the schedule shows it as a Dec. release) as it will likely be about $10-$15 cheaper, for the same kit. The Ferrari SA Aperta I don't believe is being re-boxed however.

Dr. Cranky.....not the '50 Olds....I have been having more inquiries about it than the other 2 new tooled kits....but maybe that is only because it will be the first out of the starting blocks.
Hawk312 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Really waiting on that `68 Firebird to see what parts are included with it.
Hawk312 Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 For those who were looking, I am seeing the Foose Firebird showing up on Ebay as "In Stock", and am also seeing it on some online hobby stores.
DaveM Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 The Foose Firebirds are out. I saw one in the local craft store yesterday when I got my Olds. Anybody know if the only major changes are the wheels, tires and accessories, or has the body been changed too? I hate to buy one and find out that the body or interior are total custom. THanks, Dave
Rob Hall Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I checked w/ my LHS this afternoon and their Revell shipment hadn't come in yet, should be in Monday w/ the Olds, Firebird, etc.
jaydar Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I am impatiently waiting for the 62 Vette and the 57 Ford. i am waiting for that vette too, but not patiently!!!!
Rob Hall Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Still no word on Rat Roaster? Late Dec is what I've seen from various vendors, so January for wide availability probably..
CEKPETHO BCE Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Is it possible Revell will put out Big T or Big Deuce anytime in the near future?
58 Impala Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I'm waiting for the 62 Vette and the Stacey Roadster.
