It is a great weekend for auto racing, I am a open wheel fan, but I always try and watch the 500, going to watch the F1 from Monaco as well, and of course going to be watching the Nationwide and Cup series from Charlotte

I grew up around the 500, my dads friend was an official and opened some doors for us. I've been to many 500's, and used to listen fatefully for years when I couldn't be there. Somehow it lost the. magic, just ain't the same.

12 plus hours of racing, that's a great way to spend a day. My wife doesn't agree, thank goodness for DVR's. (won't miss any of it.) A few years back on Memorial Day weekend, racing on TV was even better. I was able to watch F1,Indycar,NASCAR,NHRA and WRC all in the same day. (16 hrs. of racing total).
