rmvw guy Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 How sweet it is with plenty of character. I watched this under "Workbench", it came out great!
Sixties Sam Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Cool truck! I like the t-bird rear end. Great character! Nice color, too. Sam
Joker Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Loving the fade paint and killer engine. Thanks for posting James aka Joker
Jon Cole Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 That is awesome! What did the front half originate from?
Foxer Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 This is a well done design. It all flows together so well .. I especially like the shape of the bottom body curves.
Grumpa Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Great looking truck! A definate throw-back to the 60's show theme. Very creative using the the T-Bird rear end.
James2 Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 Thank you kindly, Your comments inspire me to do better, J2
cchapman195 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Beautiful truck James. Can't wait to see what you have next for us.
Dirty Gringo Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 While watching the build I was iffy but looks pretty darn cool way to nail it
W-409 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 This turned out very nice Show Truck! The style is just correct, not too modern Truck with all today's "goodies". I like the color on it, and those Whitewall Slicks look very good on this one. I like the wheels too. Engine detailing looks super, where did you get those injector stacks from?
Ryan S. Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Turned out great. All your hard work paid off. Such a sweet 'lil truck.
James2 Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 Thanks guys. The slicks are from the amt Racemaster tire set, the wheels are from a Garlit's dragster. I got the stacks from FRW Speed Equipment, but I believe other suppliers carry them as well. You could also get them at Radio Shack, in the wire connector bin. I'm going way out of the box next to build a Bi-plane. Kind of a first for me!
Bartster Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Beautiful truck, James! l followed this one all the way, so no surprises here. I would not have thought of green, but the perfect fade makes this one look like $$$. Literally! Also the color of envy. Very fitting.
