Beautiful job on that. Everything is spot on and very clean.. I'm really impressed with the engine bay and the trunk. Where did you find the gear shifter? I'm looking for one like that for one of my builds.

Nice looking, Michael. But it appears the hood doesn't fit the body well. Is that a resin hood and a die cast body? I didn't know they did the '65 in die cast until I happened upon one yesterday.

Still, despite the hood misfit ... nice looking model!

Looks to be the old AMT kit , Built one some time ago from the old cruisin' USA series .

Still have it but your build is AWESOME very nice and really like the detail i am impressed with the whole thing

That is a resin hood. I think it slid forward a touch moving it around. That is an AMT kit.

The knob is made from alum. bar stock, the post is sheet stock, cut-n-drill'ed. hope that helps you out...

Yes, that helps out. I had a similar idea for my 53 Ford Vicky. I was just wondering if there was one in a kit or if I needed to scratchbuild one. It's easy enough to do.
