MichaelJ Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 I LUV THE 60'S MUSCLE. Have more. Want to see??? LOL!!!
VERNON Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Sharp, I'm getting ready to start one of these. Your kit gave me a couple ideas. Keep up the good work.
bbowser Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 I don't usually like the big wheels on these 60's sleds but those look great. Nice job, and yes let's see some more!
Modlbldr Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Beautiful job on that. Everything is spot on and very clean.. I'm really impressed with the engine bay and the trunk. Where did you find the gear shifter? I'm looking for one like that for one of my builds. Later-
Danno Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Nice looking, Michael. But it appears the hood doesn't fit the body well. Is that a resin hood and a die cast body? I didn't know they did the '65 in die cast until I happened upon one yesterday. Still, despite the hood misfit ... nice looking model!
Harold Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 In the immortal words of Montgomery Burns; "Excellent".
hvymtl Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Looks to be the old AMT kit , Built one some time ago from the old cruisin' USA series . Still have it but your build is AWESOME very nice and really like the detail i am impressed with the whole thing Michael

I think it slid forward a touch moving it around. That is an AMT kit.

Later- The knob is made from alum. bar stock, the post is sheet stock, cut-n-drill'ed. hope that helps you out...
krishna.iskandana Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I am not too fond about the hood but great job nonetheless....
Modlbldr Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Michael- Yes, that helps out. I had a similar idea for my 53 Ford Vicky. I was just wondering if there was one in a kit or if I needed to scratchbuild one. It's easy enough to do. Later-
