'08SEAL Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 I seem to like old trucks, 1930s-1960s. Whats your favorite genre of models you build!
martinfan5 Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 80's to current, with some stuff from the 60's and 70's
The70judgeman Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Mid-60's to early 70's Muscle Cars mostly, but I'll build something that piques my interest no matter what it is.
Sixx Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 I'll build anything...automotive...figures...military stuff, I don't do ships, or airplanes, helicoptors...yes. I dig 50's cars, a few muscle cars, and some new cars ; Challengers, Camaros , Mustangs , the Viper, etc...
sjordan2 Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 European sports cars, 50s-60s, but mostly classic pre-WWII cars.
Harry P. Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 ...mostly classic pre-WWII cars. Same here. I build all kinds of models (ships, planes, trains, etc.)... but as far as model cars go, '20s-'30s (or even older) classics.
Chuck Most Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 That would be a tie between beaters (any vehicle, any vintage), and hot rods. Looking at my model collection, that's what the majority of them consist of.
Bartster Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 l've been all over the spectrum, but right now, l'm into pro-touring. Cars or trucks.
bbowser Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Mostly Nascar as that's what got me back in the hobby, but any '30-'70's replica stock is what I've been into lately. Trucks too and the occasional drag car, I guess whatever strikes my eye at the time!
cobraman Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 I like drag cars of the 60's for the most part. Any and all Cobra's. I have been on a 50's and 60's mild customs kick lately. Thanks to Ira I have been kicking around the idea of tying one of those cartoon type builds but I know if I do my results will not be anywhere near as good. He is the king at those things and they look fun.
mikemodeler Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 There is a stark difference between what is in my display case and what is in the WIP department! My display case is mostly 1969 and 2006 Camaros of the Revell snap variety with a few other 60's-70's GM muscle cars thrown in while I have all different years and makes of cars, trucks and hot rods in the WIP pile. I like Ford hot rods & pickups, GM cars & trucks (50's-70s), Jeeps of all years and the occasional Dodge pickup.
BKcustoms Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 I'll pretty much build anything but right now I'm obsessed with '50s style customs.
Big Daddy Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 myself i like late 50's, 60's and early 70's muscle, mainly mopar
Frank Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Mainly pre WW2, but if I like a later model I'll build it.
Scuderia Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 80's to current, with some stuff from the 60's and 70's What he said.
Agent G Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Police vehicles from any era, classic hot rods, 50's and 60's customs. Tanks, planes, ships, and figures as well. G
Austin T Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 I have a cultural mixing bowl of kits,Everything from Cords to Datsun's to a Pantera.
Tom Setzer Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 1930's Gow Jobs - 1960's Hot Hot Rods and Mild Customs!
