heres another oldie from my bench. 66 chevy wagon. i added a bamboo rack to the roof to carry the boards, and in the back it has a cooler, and some beachtowels..ect,ect

this one now resides in the collection of our very own Dr.Cranky. when i was building it he liked it so much i packed it up and sent it off to sunny florida to be closer to the beach! LOL

the rack is real bamboo, and i weathered it lightly. just some crust on the engine, and light rust on the bumpers........with a small primer spot here and there.....

I love wagons and yours is super ! I like the daily driver look better than being all rusted to death . Did you spray Dull - Cote over the paint , and how did you make the front bumper look slightly rusted ?

I want to try something like this soon .

Great work. Just right in so many ways. No one else will have anything like that on their shelf - which to me is the best joy in modeling.

Man o man, I used to own one of those, even the same colour, you only forgot the rusted-out quarter-panels (and the engine looks too clean)! Good job.

It's builds like this that make me want to never do another "shiny" paint job and just weather the you know what outta everything... :D
