MOVIN' MORE FENDERS...

I cut most of the rear fender off the body...

Then I raised the top edge of the fender and glued it in place about .25 inches higher. This will give me more room for the BiG Rear Tires!

MAKIN' WIDE FENDERS!!!

I cut 2 lengths of .25 strip plastic to fit the fenders. Then I bent the plastic, as round as I could, and glued one strip to each rear fender.

Next I cut 2 lengths of 8th inch plastic strip for the front fenders and glued them in place...

I also made New Wide Running Boards from strip plastic!

Great job with the Mud Bug. You sure do amazing work, as always. This looks like a Plastic Puzzle to me. But you're doing good job.

Like this a lot. Can you tell me were the red VW in the back ground with the flared fenders can be found ? I'm looking to build a VW that I could realy use those fenders on. I'm learning a lot watching your build here.

MUD SPOILER!!!

I applied Squadron Putty to Mud Bugs rough spots and sanded it smooth with 220 grade sandpaper.

Next I cut a .5 inch strip of plastic the width of the rear fenders. Then I attached the strip to the rear fenders as shown.

The New Rear Spoiler also serves as a BiG Mud Flap!
