cobraman Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 A work of art to be sure. Do you keep your builds ? I think I remember that you built the semi rig for your father. This Willy's is one of my favorites that you did. Of coarse I like them all but this one just strikes a cord in me. if I had the money I would make you an offer you couldn't refuse. : ) So........... whats next ? I also can hardly believe you can buld a model of this quality in so short of time. i can't even build a glue bomb in that time. My hat is off to you sir.
chepp Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 You've crossed the line from a hobby to art! That is one outstanding model car.
Foxer Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 This really shines out in the sun. Just SPECTACULAR!
Davewilly Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Amazing John. Love the finish Looks just like the real one.
Alyn Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Another beauty from the Teresi model factory. The look of polished and dull aluminum could not have turned out better. Your mastery of Alclad shines through inside and out. Another eye catcher for sure. Is it safe to look at this car in full sunlight without eye protection ?
Grumpa Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 This is awesome John! Truly incredible work! The paint is beyond belief! I wish that Alclad would develop a "rattle-can" for this paint.
Bartster Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Outstanding workmanship! Beautiful use of Alclad. Very inspirational build. lt's models like this that make a lot of us strive to improve our skills. Thank you! Bart.
zaina Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 absolutely beautiful! are you sure that you didnt just take pics of a real car?
W-409 Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Turned out GREAT. Amazing work all over, I enjoyed very much watching this come together. You did great job with replicating Aluminium, Flames looks awesome, too. Detailing is perfect, as always. Amazing job, as always, John. Thanx for sharing this one.
Art Laski Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 John, The outdoor pics look stunning! What a beautiful car. -S
Harry P. Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 You posted photos from just about every conceivable angle except the bottom! Any chassis shots?
Mooneyzs Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 This build is just stunning John. it turned out beautiful. I love the little amount of red in the interior to break it all up. nice job buddy.
Ira Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 SUPER REALISTIC!!! Looks like the Full Size Willys to me John... Another Masterpiece My Friend!
Burnout Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Another outstanding model John! That is really beautiful. I too love the interior colors and the subtle contrast they add. When you use Alclad Chrome do you first use Alclads' black or someother form of gloss black? Thanks, KB
