W-409 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 John I think you must have broke some kind of record getting this pro mod together!! Agreed, in quality and speed. You do awesome work. I really like watching this come together. All details are just like 1:1 car has them. Can't wait to see that paint job.

gasser59 Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Astonishing!! If this isn't a 1:1 car, then I think you reduced yourself to 1:24 so you could work on it. I see no other way for this to look so clean and brilliantly assembled. This is your best work John and you have some real beauties in your garage.
Modelmartin Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Dang it , John! Who let you off the chain? I haven't looked at this since your first couple of posts. I am very impressed. I am pretty jaded and have seen a lot so you know you are kicking @ss when I say that. You are. Can't wait to see it in person at GSL next year.
RatRodMarc Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Sweet build john keep up the great work i luv watching you builds come together
trapper Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 john, this thing is amazing to say the least!! what do you use for glue to get such a clean looking build?
gtx6970 Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 (edited) personally, I'm not a fan of the promod cars so the subject doesn't nothing for me. . But I will say wow, this thing looks incredible and I'm amazed on the speed in which it's come together. You can't possibly be married or have kids. My hats off to ya.btw Also, how do you attach the small brass brackets and such to a what I assume is a plastic frame work and hope they stay there once completed ? TedsModeling Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 What a beauty, John. Excellent craftsmanship, painting and detailing. I can't follow the fire suppression lines to see the nozzles. What did you use for them? Love the color of the headers. You said you scratch made the fuel/oil tank plumbing fittings. Did you make all of the fuel and oil fittings?
Burnout Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 I think you've outdone yourself this time John. Unbelievable!
tubbs Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 i can build like this, but i prefer glue on my windows, orange peel in my paint and gaps in parts, and what fun is it when all 4 tires touch the ground at the same time....... seriously, this is one amazing build and would really like to see this one in person.... truly outstanding!!
