I might be weird when I say this, but I think that those white walls fit much better than those Black Slicks. Those slicks without white walls, look too modern for my taste. ;)

Very nicely done! So how was the casting of the clear hood on your kit? Mine was terrible.

my clear hood isnt too bad. would like to use it but would probably ruin it cutting the hole for the scoop.

thanks for the kind words everyone. like ive said before, im not a very big chevy fan, but i do love gassers and the box art just grabbed me right away. thanks again.

Really nice build, and while the overall car is gorgeous, there are details here that are just spectacular on closer look! One that stands out to me is the steering wheel; it just looks scale perfect, and too often that is a weak area in otherwise nice builds. Clunky, over-sized, thick wheels are a peeve of mine.

Close up photos are painfully honest sometimes, but yours just drive home the potential that can be unleashed from these older kits. Bravo!
