Bartster Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Very cool! l followed along with this & l love the way it turned out! lt's refreshing looking at a real stock car. Nice work. Bart.
W-409 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Very nice build, great subject too. Good job all over, paint, details, decals etc. look perfect. I can't say any bad words about this one, you did awesome job.
bbowser Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Sweet job Mark. No one does convertibles, a lonely footnote in NASCAR history. Great build. Love the seat and the dash, great job on the details.
Old Coyote Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Great build Mark ............. very impressive .............. really shows your skills B)
Badluck 13 Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Mark,I been following this one from the start (even elsewhere),I am totally suprised for such a blah kit how great this thing turned out, nice attention to detail, still say my favorite is the right front tire inspection door
jdcar32 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love the "real" stock cars like this one. Nice to see a convertible racer too. Guys like Fred L., Fireball,Lee Pettty, Jr. J, they could drive anything with a steering wheel. It took guts to fly around Daytona at 140 in shirt sleeves and bias plys.
'70 Grande Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Love this build! Great detailing and paintwork! I've been following this project as well; its a great tribute to the time when Nascar race cars weren't covered in sponsorship paint and hundreds of decals!
MarkJ Posted October 10, 2012 Author Posted October 10, 2012 Thanks guys. I really appreciate the comments.
afx Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Very nice Mark. You may want to delete the dead photo links in your original post.
MarkJ Posted August 17, 2017 Author Posted August 17, 2017 J. C. when you click on the edit button the links do not appear on this website. If they did I would surely delete them. Maybe a moderator could delete them for me. I don't want photobucket to get any exposure. believe me.
