slusher Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Really nice engine detail and paint on your build. Shows really well. What did you use for the interior color???
surfjunke Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Really nice clean build. The paint is beautiful.
jon halt Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 Really nice engine detail and paint on your build. Shows really well. What did you use for the interior color??? thanks, i used tamiya flesh color. thats the only paint i had close enough to the tan color so used it and it turned out okay.
Zarana-X Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Great paint & finish. One of my favorite childhood shows.
GeeBee Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Very nice build, wouldn't have thought of using the flesh paint, but it did the trick ...
crowe-t Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Jon, The paint looks fantastic especially with the clear over the decals! Mike.
Guest Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 A awesome build, but you do know that the old AMT kit does not have the correct body? The General was a tunnel back, the AMT kit has a flush rear window.
BigTallDad Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Very nice! Just for giggles, set the model on the windshield of a 1:1 then take a picture from the inside (make sure you have clouds in the background). It'll look like the General is airborne!
sjordan2 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 (edited) The bar has been set very high on the multitude of General Lee models we've seen on this forum, and I think you've done a terrific job. I would ask more experienced people who know this car if the ride height is set properly. To me, the front wheels look like they're in a mid-air leap. Edited June 19, 2015 by sjordan2
Belugawrx Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 It's been three years since the build, I' m sure the front springs have settled since then Hahaha Nice General all same Jon.... If your still here Cheers
Twokidsnosleep Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 (edited) Dang, didn't see the original post date...it has arisen from the dead! Zombie General Lee!!! Edited June 20, 2015 by Twokidsnosleep
