Harry P. Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 If you want to contact another forum member or a mod for whatever reason, do not start a thread here telling the person you want to talk to that they should send you a PM. Instead of posting a thread here telling them to PM you, doesn't it make sense for you to send them a PM directly in the first place? Is that not obvious? Apparently we have at least one member who wants to quit the forum because I told him to do it that way. Once again my "heavy-handed" moderating is to blame...
Guest Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Hey Harry! Send me a PM! Seriously though, I have to agree. It takes no longer to send a PM than to start a thread urging someone to send them a PM.
Jantrix Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I think he's a little upset about my reply in his trade thread and wanted to go to the mods about it, and wanted me to know he was going to report me. Thats probably what started it.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 (edited) You're all so mean........I'm gonna send MYSELF a PM. So there !!!! Edited October 29, 2012 by Ace-Garageguy

Rob Hall Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Some of the techophobes and luddites around may not know how to send a PM...
Harry P. Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 Some of the techophobes and luddites around may not know how to send a PM... If anyone out there really doesn't know how to send a PM, it's very easy. Just hover your mouse over the screen name of the person you want to PM, and a little window pops up. Click on "Send Message" and PM your heart out.
Harry P. Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 You're all so mean........I'm gonna send MYSELF a PM. So there !!!! Didn't your mother ever warn you about what happens if you do that too often?
Kit Basher Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 (edited) I had a PM this morning. I enjoyed it. TMI! (Too Much Information) Edited October 29, 2012 by Kit Basher
Guest G Holding Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Skip....that should be a "B".....not a P or a T.....
sjordan2 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Skip....that should be a "B".....not a P or a T..... At my age, the technicalities don't matter.
JustBill Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Didn't your mother ever warn you about what happens if you do that too often? She said I'd go blind.......... been proving her wrong ever since
mnwildpunk Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Yes I agree with the post'er these adims are mean down right mean when they are polite and ask us nicely to do something different so we don't look like an idiot. It's almost vicious how they ask "please post correctly"
martinfan5 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Its people being to darn lazy to do it themselves
Prostreet Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Why didn't you PM him to tell him to use PM's instead of posting in his thread to use PM's?
Rick Schmidt Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Could be the dreaded Full PM box problem From what I've hear in the past is ya can't PM someone if the box is full. Never reached that point so Dunno for sure
Eshaver Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Uh, the party that jantrix is trying to not deal with has had a dealing with me . After the way I was treated , I wouldn't speak to this person again either !!!!!!!!!!!!
Jantrix Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I got nothing against the guy and would happily deal with him on anything (we've traded in the past and it went fine). I made a comment about one of his posts and he had a fit. End of story.
