Well this is what I scored this weekend. I went to the Toy Fair and managed to score these 3 kits for $8 Each including the large scale Lambo. I also scored 52 train magazines from 1966 to 1975 for $5 for all. Mudpit602 up there also gave me the coffin car from the tin set he posted up a little. oh and at the Moonlight Modelers meeting last night I scored 2nd place for my Ecto1a Ghostbusters car! Well I finally got a good lead on some models. Bought 40 kits and a ton of resin bodies, 4 moving boxes of built ups, partials, decals, tools, parts, etc. Had a blast and met a great guy too. Anyone need anything? Im working on a list for trades soon. Thanks for looking. Sorry I was pretty excited in this find! You know the funny thing? Not one tube of glue! LOL! Well the photo is too big! LOOK here>>>

Well went by Dairy Queen then stopped by my sons and aired up a tire on the ElCamino and droped of some cookies his mom made.

As we were leaving down the alley someone had been doing some cleaning and there was junk fell over into the alley! Got out to move the boxes and inside was a still sealed AMT Terry Labonte 95 MonteCarlo!

Another box had hit it and split the lid open towards one end and ripped the side. Got home and opened it and nothing was damaged inside the decal sheet looks nice and crisp with no yellowing or cracking!B)

Gotta love a freebie!

Hey Nick - where you been kid? haven't seen you reply or post anything in a long time. I was thinking maybe winter hit and you were snowed in up north.

Winter hasn't hit,...........Yet my computer bummed up and I'm still bartering with a guy my dad knows to get him to fix it with any luck I'll have it back up and running next week.

Got these from the local Magic Mart. The ONLY place within 100 miles that still sells models.

The F-250 is nicer than I expected as I have never seen the contents of this kit before. It will make a great race car tow truck.

I got the Charger to add to my Mopar collection as it and the 67 Coronet R/T are the only Revell Mopars that I don't have.

Good show on getting the Italeri 300 SL Roadster. A couple of tips:

• The only thing wrong, really, is the shape of the windshield frame, which is too tall and square in the top corners.

• The tires are a bit too fat.

• The wheels in the Minicraft Gullwing version are much nicer; they're chromed, with separate outer chrome rings.

• Don't use the nose badge decal – it has red in it, which hadn't been used for over 25 years on a Mercedes.

Here's an incomplete build journal from a Spanish site:

http://foro.miniruedas.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1911

If you have any reference needs, I have an enormous digital file that takes up four CDs – more than twice the amount of information on the Phantom II CD I sent you.

As you know, I'm relentlessly hunting the Italeri version of the Gullwing, which appears to share many parts with this kit, judging by non-roadster parts on the chrome sprue. I would be grateful for anyone's help in tracking one down.

Cazxr2 - I got that kit last year. You can't beat that pink that it's molded in. I think I may try to polish the plastic and build it without paint. My daughter will love it in her room.

I went to my LHS and they have a little parts center where people can bring their unused parts and stuff and I dug around and found a 426 HEMI from the Revell '68 Charger and a stock air cleaner & exhaust manifolds from the Revell '67 Charger kit. ;)B)

I will be using these parts for a Mopar sometime later. B)B)

I got some very nice side cutters from my specialist electronics store- much cheaper than the LHS too I might add.

I saw them when picking up a new multimeter and couldn't resist!

My LHS (Hobby Emporium) had their 30% Off Sale today and I got the Tamiya Aston Martin DBS and the Revell Dodge Dart Hemi along with assorted paints and sprays for under $90.00.
