Nick Winter Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 more Goodies from Pat Redmond. the Z28 is still factory sealed inside, the GTX is missing the custom wheels, but there is a resin Satellitte grille in it and a smooth rear bumper, the Super bee is complete other than the wheels. Nick
crazyjim Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Didn't get nothin' - not even the rain we were supposed to get.
Casey Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 the GTX is missing the custom wheels, but there is a resin Satellitte grille in it and a smooth rear bumper Post some pics of those two parts if you have a chance, please. I didn't know someone had a 1/24 Satellite grille available. Is the rear bumper missing the rub strips?
Nick Winter Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Yes it is Casey. Nick I'll snap a few pictures for you.
mademan Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 yesterday and today! newest issue of Lowriding in Scale Magazine. 1 case of lowrider Cadillacs, the other 1/2 case of Camaro SS and my awsome GF bought me the 1:12 Stang
TooOld Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Didn't get nothin' - not even the rain we were supposed to get. That's too bad . We got about 4 inches ! All that grass seed and topsoil I put down 6 weeks ago washed down the street ! It was growing too ! !
crazyjim Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 All that changed on Monday, Bob. Monday = 4", Tuesday 2 1/4", Wednesday 1". I would have thought 6 weeks of growth and the seed would have rooted already. I'm planning on a couple pallets of Bahia and 3 yards of top soil to cover a bunch of sugar sand out back of the house where the rain water is washing everything away.
rel14 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Went by my goodwill as always,, picked up a new fast and furious Dodge, and a new Tamiya Taka-Q toyota 88C-V. $8.00 for both of them,, Feel like a kid at christmas
ChevyCoupe41 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Today me and my dad bought from his friend two big scale revell kits, 1:12 '57 Chevy and 1:8 Ford Street Rod. They cost in total just only 70 euros and i think it was very cheap. Both kits are opened but parts are on unopened bags.
RickRollerLT1 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I'm now finishing that one as I type! Got it at a car show last fall for $5.
martinfan5 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I paid a little more the $5 dollars for mine , $16 with shipping
rmvw guy Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I just bought the Meyers "Manx" at Hobby Lobby for $14.11 and a 40% off coupon. They also had the AMT Double Dragster kit. Good to see they are finally getting some newer releases. I still haven't seen the Custom '48 Ford here.
Tye Brown Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Got myself one of these yesterday Batmobile Deluxe Edition
W-409 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 The most interesting kit for 2012 so far, arrived to Finland.
JamesW Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 (edited) I'm about as happy as I could get. This one has been on my must have list for a while, but always seemed to elude me as it went for ridiculously high prices on Ebay. So when it popped up for a decent price BIN SEALED, I jumped on it. JamesW Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 (edited) LMAO, now that's funny. Edited June 2, 2012 by JamesW
2000-cvpi Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 I got this bill today that made me giggle. Nick For that I'd send them 72 Pennies. I would have cost less to write that bill off, then mailing it out.
Austin T Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 That's pretty good,I heard about a guy that passed away got a .12 cent cell phone bill a few years after he had been 6 feet under. They sent it to the cemetery he was buried in.
