cobraman Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Wow ! Nice haul. Do I see a Crosly and a Fiat body with built in spoiler that I assume would fit on a funny car chassis ? Nice stuff.

Daddyfink Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 The Crosley is for the Batto Trucking Dragster/Coupe and the Fiat is for the Mob Fuel Altered Now, where do I start?

charlie8575 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 No pictures, but a new thermostat in my car. When I went to get the screws out of the casing, they were galled- badly, and examination of them and the part revealed that it may well have been the factory thermostat. So I'd say after nineteen years, it was probably about due. Let's see if that fixes some of the weird running problems. Charlie Larkin

Austin T Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 That's good for 2hp. If you want to go crazy add some auto part decals or stickers, they add 2-3 Hp some even go up to 5Hp!
2000-cvpi Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 If you want to go crazy add some auto part decals or stickers, they add 2-3 Hp some even go up to 5Hp! Paint something yellow, that adds at least ten horse power. The three a pillar gauges on a stock car adds over fifty horse power.

Nick Winter Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Paint something yellow, that adds at least ten horse power. The three a pillar gauges on a stock car adds over fifty horse power. Don't forget the Chevy engine red air cleaner lid................................I don't know how many I've used like friz-bee's in scrapyards when I tripped over them.

Deathgoblin Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Got some money for my birthday this past weekend and went hobby shopping today. I got: Tamiya Nissan 300ZX Turbo Tamiya Mini Cooper Racing Monogram 70 Buick GSX AMT 69 Chevy Corvair Plus 2 packs of BMF, a vinyl top kit and a bottle of Ceramite white paint. It was a good day.
2000-cvpi Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I picked up the following kits, the pick up was on clearance at Hobby Lobby. The Petty 1/16 was a new kit at Hobby Lobby, so with the coupon it was just over 20.00. The Sox and Martin kit was on sale at Meijers.
charlie8575 Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I may have to get a new car... A 1:1, that is. Anyone in New England/not too far away got anything VERY cheap? Charlie Larkin
