When I went to get the screws out of the casing, they were galled- badly, and examination of them and the part revealed that it may well have been the factory thermostat. So I'd say after nineteen years, it was probably about due. Let's see if that fixes some of the weird running problems. The Petty 1/16 was a new kit at Hobby Lobby, so with the coupon it was just over 20.00. The Sox and Martin kit was on sale at Meijers.
