Tom Geiger Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Got the latest issue of MCM in pristine condition. I bought one at the hobby shop yesterday. I had held off since I recently subscribed, but I guess it will start with the next issue. The issue I got is the GSL issue. It's a great issue cover to cover!
Tom Geiger Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I got a clean work bench! I spent the evening yesterday getting it back in shape. I found some stuff I was missing and put all the projects into their own boxes. But look quick, it won't remain clean for long! Oh, and I got a new avatar!
jrherald420 Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I cant work without a clean table, looks good.

Rob Hall Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Got the new issue of MCM in the mail today...looks like a good one. Nice to see the article on the D.R.A.G. resin casters..neat to see inside a resin casting enterprise. My issue arrived w/ one staple missing, so have to handle it carefully..
Foxer Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 A few kits to supply parts for some builds in the works ... I'm ruthless at buying a kit just for a part .. ... but it's so much fun! The Carrera 2 is donating it's 928/944 Turbo style wheels to a '91 944 while the older Carrera's Fuchs are going to a '84 944 build. The Beetle was bought for the new style vertical headlights for a '69 Beetle build. The Monogram 924 is donating it's old style dash to an '84 944 build. The Testors 944 Turbo was for the body for the '84 944 until I found it was the Turbo front end, finally finding a 944 S that had the correct bumper showing needed for this build. I expect they'll all supply pieces for other builds including a 944 Turbo engine for a rat rod!
2000-cvpi Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 I stopped at Hobby Lobby again and picked up one of these.
jrherald420 Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 I need to pick up 2 more of these before they quit selling them.

Evilbenny Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 (edited) Went to a swap meet this morning. It was mostly military models but I did get some great deals. Picked up the Blazer for $3. Not one of my faves but for that price I can find something to do with it. Edited October 30, 2013 by Evilbenny
