Well I went to my lhs looking for a 99 silverado, didn't find that but apperently the manager Is slowly thinning out his colection (he told me he had about 150 kits and he says he brings home a couple every time they get more kits in) and I found these two so I'm EXTREMLY happy!! :D

the daytona is going to be a replica of my mom's 90 she used to own, the funny thing was that she loved it, and my dad hated it!

The mailman has been good to me over the last couple days.

I got this one in a trade on the "other" forum.

Been meaning to build one or two of these since the "purple car" issue first came out but just now got around to getting a couple

Also found another orphan Mopar project, love the way they look but don't understand why the MPC Dusters are so hard to find at a decent price

What's the story on the offset cowl hood scoop? Is that a one-off piece?

I picked up a Revell '71 GTX from Michael's a few minutes ago for $9.99 - 40% off (I guess it does work on cleanrance priced items), so $6.00 or so. Score!

A trip to a Local Collectors store and I did some clean up.

7 of the kits have been painted and some stripped.

67 GTX is complete and came with Resin Nascar grill, rollcage, wheels & tires and Slixx decals

and the 71 Duster came with 2 sets of Slixx Decals.. :D

That is good bang for my Buck..

...all these people who think the war didn't last long enough.

That's hilarious! I'll have to remember that line next time somebody calls one of my cars a "highly visual ground target."

Nice score Joe. Those things don't come cheap. I've been trying to find a 79 Ford for a good price to build a replica of one of my dads old trucks. Can't wait to see what you do with that one.

I got 2 MPC '79 10th anniversary trans am, one unbuilt one built, a original MPC Blackbird built- even includes original messed up bird graphic already applied, and a Testors/Lindberg '80 Turbo trans am, what a let down, oh well.

Found some more orphan Mopars on ebay- twenty bucks for a complete, original issue 71 Road Runner with a little glue damage, ten for a '77 Volare non-T-top missing the hood and back bumper, and probably more than I should have spent on an original '72 Road Runner body and grille and Petty Road Runner in pieces

broke now and time to get off the computer and back building

Also ordered a couple "street machine" version AMT '71 Chargers for parts and a sealed 80's issue MPC '71 Road Runner

Well it's diffenitly a rebuilder.

Outside of the hood missing, and maybe a Lil piece or two and no decals.

It was a pre painted kit, assembled and then disassembled.??

The Baldwin Motion Camaro is the same way but has hood. :(

Zukaholic- That Revell 57 Bel Air is that a 1:25 scale if so where can i get one of those because that kit would make a great "Project X" car seen in that movie "Hollywood Knights".
