bbowser Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Great job on an American icon. Nice clean foiling, great color. I love this kit, I think it's one of Monogram's best efforts.
Monty Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Always good to see more of your work, Paul. Could we see some engine & chassis shots too?
crazyjim Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 A big, SHINY :) Cadillac. Very nice build. What color is that?
PARTSMARTY Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 ABOSUTELY GORGEOUS!!!-MAYBE IT'S THE PICTURES BUTI DON'T GET THE INTERIOR COLOR COMBINED WITH THE EXTERIOR COLOR?-GREAT BUILD!!!
PBII Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 Thanx for the compliments - color is tamiya light red pearl - and interior a darkish pink but shows up as brown on pics looks better in real life - I'm still missing a few engine parts this was a second hand kit but will post as soon as engine bay is finished
sjordan2 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 (edited) Great work, and superb foiling. Can you get a couple of outdoor shots to show off the color better? I'm looking for a rare Mercedes 300 SL color, Strawberry Red Metallic, and am trying to find something close. This looks very good, but darker than the Tamiya TS-59. Did you use an undercoat?
