disabled modeler Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Mine would work as for Christmas too.... My goal is to finally find the old, rare, replacement parts for my dads old ones so I can get them restored before I cant....everything else is secondary at this point to me.
Olskoolrodder Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Mines to actually build something, more than in 2012 (I only actually finished one complete build this year, gasp )
Mooneyzs Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 My goal is to finish my 1/16th scale Army Vega Funny car by April and then i have a couple of other 1/16th scale builds I have been planning to build and have been excited abouy. I want to start a couple of curbside builds as well.
Dr. Cranky Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Build more, BUY less! Nick, you must be reading my mind, although Revell's new releases are making it really really really hard.
LDO Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 (edited) Finish something. Learn to use automotive lacquers. (This whole thing with Tamiya Clear being discontinued has really thrown a monkey wrench into my world. I bet I have 60 cans of Tamiya spray paint. :-( ) Edited November 30, 2012 by LDO
IndyMike Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Doc, Your resolution is to keep churning out those videos! I am getting into this hobby because your styrene addiction is contagious!
High octane Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Nick, you must be reading my mind, although Revell's new releases are making it really really really hard. Not that hard, only the '57 Ford is on the top of my list and right now I'm tryin' to "thin out the herd" as I have been known to buy kits a LOT faster than I build 'em.
Dr. Cranky Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Doc, Your resolution is to keep churning out those videos! I am getting into this hobby because your styrene addiction is contagious! Thanks, Mike, I am glad the videos are getting around. I am promoting the heck out of the magazine (it's the only one DCL and EYEGORE endorse in the car modeling world!) and the Forum. Not that hard, only the '57 Ford is on the top of my list and right now I'm tryin' to "thin out the herd" as I have been known to buy kits a LOT faster than I build 'em. Nick, I just bought four more of those. Has all the making of a great kit!
2000-cvpi Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 I want to continue to buy more kits than I build.
johnbuzzed Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 I'd like to finish some of my long-term (i.e. started last century) projects but I still have another in-my-head project in the wings. I also want to build some of the aircraft, armor and ships that are in my stash.

Aeroteto Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 finish a model before starting two more +1
Daddyfink Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Just try to work on something whenever I can. Maybe get to build and use one of Mark Johnson's resin 1/16 Hemi engines!
Rob Hall Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 To actually finish something. In 2012, I bought roughly 65 kits (new + old).
Foxer Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Absolutely nothing for me ... otherwise it would be a job.
