Daddyfink Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 James, hope you don't mind me answering this Union Model in Japan used the Revell molds and issued them in some pretty nice boxes. They issued the BRE 46 510, The Brock Buster 510 and the BRE 46 240Z Hope that helps!
A.R.C. Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Updated my pics and here is just what I have at home. I have a bit more in storage. Thats only the second Peanut 1 that I have ever seen besides the one I got for Christmas from my little sister when I was 10 (36 yrs ago). Very cool!!! I may just be a sentimental fool but if your ever considering a trade or something, let me know.
ERIK88 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I need to buy more supplies like paint than models lol. But nice collections.
dantewallace Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Stored in a fortified bunker under the streets of Mesa is "the STASH" Wooooooooooooooooooow Mike!!!! You prefer the exact same type of kits that I do. Fujimi/testors Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. You prefer mostly exotics and imports I take it? That's my taste but strangely, my stash consists of mostly muscle cars and very few exotics. Although I have come across a long closed hobby store locally and have been raiding his inventory of import kits. It'll even out in a few more visits. I see allot in your stash that I didn't know were produced and want, lol.
Scott Colmer Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 OK, here we go. As Tom said, even if you can't build them all, it's fun to own them. These are older pics, but there have been only a few additions in the last few years. Most of them are reloads from when I was a kid. Jordan 191 Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 This thread makes me giddy with happiness. I thought I had too many unbuilt kits, but now I see the light!!!
MsDano85gt Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 When I have the time on the weekends, I toss'em all into the middle of the room and roll around in'em hehe I agree with this statement I roll around on the floor (literally) with all my kits and parts as I work them and set them all up for various executions of workings.... customizations, and builds ( or rebuilds) fun fun fun till momma makes me put all the kits away back in the closet!!
W-409 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 I just did a little clean up in my room. I had to store some of the unstarted/started kits into basement to get more room. I decided to take three pictures, too. Here are most of my kits, some are in different place, but this is almost everything I got. Though in some boxes, there is something completely different than what the boxart says...
W-409 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Thanks, Ray! I forgot to say that most of them are started, but there are unstarted kits, too. Many of those that are started, have engine blocks glued together and painted or something, and then they have stalled because of one reason or another. When I get the inspiration again, I do more progress, but I really don't have a problem called "What To Build Next?". Yesterday I just took the AMT '51 Chevy out (On bottom, the 1st picture) and put it in Mr Muscle to remove paint. It'll be built Factory Stock for a community build on Finnish Model Car Association Forum.
MsDano85gt Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 this plus a couple others are what i'm sloooooowly picking away at at the apartment! theres alot more at my storage facility locker!! i trade away stuff too but more comes back to fill its place!! model kit collections just seem to regenerate!!! ahhhhhhhh
MsDano85gt Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 wow yeah we should put in a request to those tv shows that do all that crazy stuff tha t people just eat up!!! styrene ( model car/truck) hoarders have seperate segments for planes/ boats/ other maybe??
Daddyfink Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 We are not hoarders, we are just very enthusiastic collectors! LOL!
Pete J. Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 We are not hoarders, we are just very enthusiastic collectors! LOL! I am not a collector! I will build every one of my models sooner or later!!! Like the next 150 years of so!
Greg Cullinan Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Right about 65 kits. Three unsealed. I like em fresh.
Chillyb1 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Greg, that Toyota Hiace Quick Delivery is just about my favorite kit. I can't explain why I'm so attracted to it. Have you started it? Any plans?

Any plans? It's a cool kit no doubt. Something different too. It's reissued so there out there now. I have a Viagra stock car and am thinking those decals to make a Viagra delivery truck.
Crazy Ed Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I have a Viagra stock car and am thinking those decals to make a Viagra delivery truck. It's JUST Got to be a Woodie! Sorry, but someone had to say it.
Tom Geiger Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 (edited) I've been organizing my junk lately. When I found I had a dozen Revell 50 Ford pickup kits, I took the 5 or so open ones and dumped them into a tub and marked it "1950 Ford PU Parts". I just did the same with the remains of 4 1970 Impala kits that I'm hoping to use the restore some from different years, but of that same structure. Just this past week I reduced my footprint by at least a dozen kit boxes, sorting things into parts boxes and such. Upon sorting the cases, I realized I had more than a necessary amount of many different kits. So I put them all out in a pile and came up with near 40 kits, mostly sealed that I just don't need. So they're up for trades, or I'll eventually put them on eBay or bring them to a club meeting. I've also been looking at all the supplies and aftermarket things that I was saving for a special project. Well, the time is now. For instance the Grand Canyon Camps logo on my new rat rod pickup was one of those things I had saved 3-5 years. So I used them. Edited November 25, 2013 by Tom Geiger
Erik Smith Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I'm in the process of letting other people store a lot of my kits.
