Pete J. Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Mark - Love the knurling that you did on the crank. That is the type of detail that makes other modelers sit up and take notice! Just out of curiosity, do you make a miniature knurling tool or hand engrave it? Either way it is very nice!
Alyn Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Man, I'm all jacked up now ! Great little tidbit to add to this already excellent project.
Scale-Master Posted May 31, 2013 Author Posted May 31, 2013 Thanks guys! Just out of curiosity, do you make a miniature knurling tool or hand engrave it? Yes! I need to add the seat mounting points to the frame, and needed seats to fit those to. These seats are items I cast from a master I made for my last Seven. I did some reworking around the seat belt guides in the headrest areas to the parts and I made a new mold for the guide inserts after I modified the pattern. Still more clean-up and finish work to do on them, but they are fine for measurements now…
Guest G Holding Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Don't be surprised when people start calling you "Jack"
Scale-Master Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 Thanks guys! The little jack is done. I weathered it a little, didn’t want it to look brand new…
Alyn Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Great looking jack, Mark. Looks like you've captured about every detail possible. You ought to enter the jack into a show by itself in the miscellaneous category and see how she does.

Foxer Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 She? Wouldn't that make it a Jill? Thanks for the compliment too. ... but, it IS pretty!
Scale-Master Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 (edited) I made the “tin work” for the transmission tunnel and rear bulkhead. Edited June 5, 2013 by Scale-Master
LAone Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Dang, that working jack is just too sweet. All in the details man. Keep on at it man, it's just too good to stop.

Scale-Master Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 Thanks guys! Finally got around to casting copies of the Weber carb I made. Each one is two parts, right now… Still lots of hardware to machine and details to add.
