wagoneer Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Oh yes, seriously want one. If only we had snow worth worrying about
crazyjim Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 If I still lived up north, I'd get one. How about you, Harry?
disabled modeler Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Id be happy with a regular truck snow plow for my truck---working or not.
Joe Handley Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 $$$$$$$$$$ Would be worth every penny! Id be happy with a regular truck snow plow for my truck---working or not. As would that, even if you had to leave the plow sitting on the ground and drag it back!
mnwildpunk Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Wouldn't work here in MN. That's not heavy enough for the big deep snow we get.
diymirage Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 see, thats the problem with nerds...its a viscious circle me...im cool (ill skip some of the results of how cool i am because this is a family forum) and as a result i got a son to send out to do the snow plowing
truckaddict Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I want to see what it would do in -40 cold, Guessing it would freeze just like everything else.
crazyrichard Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 thats just awsome , the engeneering part and the build quality combined with the coolness = win !!!!!!!!!!
Guest Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Wouldn't work here in MN. That's not heavy enough for the big deep snow we get. Exactly. I got 16" a couple of weeks ago, heavy stuff, no way would that toy move it. The snow it is moving is maybe a inch at the most. Cool, but just a very expensive toy.
Fabrux Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Neat idea, but way too small and way underpowered.
bbowser Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 The snow we got Sunday morning would bury that thing. It's only a toy. I don't even bother getting a shovel out for the amount of snow in that video. X2 Cute. Way too much time and disposable income.
mikemodeler Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 That would be nice to have for some people but here in Charlotte we just wait for it to melt! In 8 winters, I think I have used my snow shovel 3 or 4 times to shovel the snow and probably 10 times to get the leaves up in the fall.

Not sure about the rest of you Illinois guys, but this sounds like what we got in West Chicago so far.
Jim B Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 If they come to Syracuse, I think they might have something marketable!!
Jon Cole Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 You guys have no vision of what is possible. That would be a prototype to see if it's feasible. Looks good to me. Like any prototype, it needs tweaking. Tracks, for deeper snow. If it gets below 0ยบ out, should be OK as it's stored in a garage (maybe in need of a space heater?), driveway looks small and should be able to plow it in minutes. I think he was plowing the sidewalk just to see what it can do, but even then, if it's just to the neighbors driveway, no problem! He should put a pole on it with an amber strobe for liability reasons though. He also needs to find it's maximum snow depth. Otherwise, he will need to plow twice. While sitting at his workbench monitor. No sore back. Sa-weet!!
Lownslow Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 very cool some friends and i are working on a bicycle snow plow
