curt raitz Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 and a few more... that's all folks...thanx for lookin'
Badluck 13 Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Curt I have been a fan of your work since I joined the forum and especially your motorsports collection.
TooOld Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 After looking at all of your builds from page 1 and page 2 all I can say is " the racing bug was very good to you ! " . Great looking stuff !
Dominik Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 like your first part also these cars - very nice, clean builts! Congrats Curt!
sjordan2 Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 (edited) That may be the most astounding combination of top-level quality and quantity that I've seen. The authenticity on the Mercedes SSKL is truly impressive, from the correct color under the fenders to the red cylinder head. The only thing I would have changed is to make the wheel drums copper, though some restored versions haven't bothered with that. Is that a 1/32 model? Edited January 4, 2013 by sjordan2
bbowser Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 These and page one make for a very good year! Great work on them all. What is the first one in this post, looks like a straight 8?

Yep, it's 1/32nd...one of the old Matchbox kits yeah, found out about the copper brake drums after completing the kit I really like those old Matchbox kits...great subject matter thanx
Bernard Kron Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 (edited) So many of these I haven't seen, and so many cool subjects. Yep, you got the racing bug this year. My faves are the SoCal tanker (really struttin' your stuff on that one) and the Purple People Eater 'Vette on Part One and the Merc at the top of the page on this thread. The Theodore is pretty hip, too. The ghost of Teddy Yip is looking down in approval., I'm sure. Looking forward to more coolness from you in 2013. B. Edited January 6, 2013 by Bernard Kron
rustybill1960 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 These are just as impressive Curt! thank You for sharing Later Russ
bogger44 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Great builds Curt. 2012 was a good year for ya, and hope 2013 is even better.
