351 cleve Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 This is one of my older builds. It features wired and plumbed engine compartment, lowered stance, and hand bent aluminum tube exhaust. Paint is Testors One Coat Inca Gold and MM Honduras Maroon with Wet Look Clear. This one took me to school on the BMF. Hope you like it!
guybrush Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 hi thomas nice build it looks very clean i like the color combination but i dont like the wheels i think they dont fit to this old chevy... regards maik
Mooneyzs Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Very nice Nomad. The paint looks great! Nice color choice.
IMPALA SS 427 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Wow, the maroon and gold really work for it, real cool.
codie27 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Somebody pass me a straw!! That wet look paint makes me thirsty. Very nice
wgflatliner Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 it's a nice thing to see a tastefully built model. The paint combo is great, the foil job is great, the wheels look good on it (sorry Maik, we just have to disagree on this one). Do you have any engine bay shots?
Jantrix Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Very well done, the color combo is spot on and the BMF is outstanding.2 thumbs up That goes double for me.
John Goschke Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Nice work! This is one of the few builds of this kit I've seen where the front bumper appears to fit properly. Did you shorten the brackets and splash pan to bring the bumper closer to the body? Or what?
