jparsons1969 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 What's up guys. I've been reading the posts on this board for quite a while and this is the first I've posted. My wife bought me an airbrush for Christmas and this is my first stab at trying it out. It's just a stock AMT '68 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-500. I mixed pearl lime and pearl gold together to get the color I wanted, then applied the clear. Thanks for looking.
wgflatliner Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 looks like you got the paint thinned down pretty good and the paint actually looks like it went down smooth. i like the color! any other pics?
jparsons1969 Posted March 12, 2013 Author Posted March 12, 2013 Yeah, here's another one. I do realize the hood's not supposed to go up that far, woops forgot to lower it down when I took the picture.
Kennyboy Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Nice job on the build John. Paint looks great for your first time with an airbrush. I have the original version of this kit in my stash.....looks like it is time to pull it out!
Modlbldr Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Beautiful work on the paint for the first time. I like the color very much. Later-
