Bluemiles22 Posted April 12, 2013 Author Posted April 12, 2013 Just got the interior complete here are a few pics
Sixties Sam Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Looks great! The interior is incredible! Good work! I just got that kit, but it won't look as good as yours. Sam
Bluemiles22 Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 Finally got the frame masked off and painted black and added some of the suspension parts with home made springs. Added a little bit of chalk for a slightly weathered look too. I used the stock tires and wheels, painted them the body color and a little bit of dull coat to knock the shine down. Also a quick picture of a mock up with the body, thanks for looking
zenrat Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Nice. I had to trim the bottom of the windscreen to get the interior tub to sit right and mount the engine as far forward as it would go. If I didn't do that then it all still fitted together but the wheels were to far forward in the wheel arches. You've obviously checked it all fits right before gluing in the "glass" yes?
Bluemiles22 Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 No but the glass will pop right out without a problem if I need to trim it.

Bluemiles22 Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 Couple shots of the almost completed motor. Just have to add the coil, paint the transmission, and put the oil pan and fan on. Thanks for looking
Bluemiles22 Posted April 26, 2013 Author Posted April 26, 2013 Ok got the exhaust on, installed the motor and added a little more chalk for some weathering underneath.
Modlbldr Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) That is some beautiful work. Nice weathering and the engine looks so real. Great job. Later- Edited April 26, 2013 by Modlbldr
