Nitro Neil Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 (edited) Round2 had some interesting stuff on display at the NNL East.... Edited April 22, 2013 by Nitro Neil
towtruck Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 WOWZERS !!! some really good stuff there... thank's for the pics..
Casey Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Good to see the Bullhorn T is still happening, and a backdated Touch Tone Terror is fantastic news. I see they got the C-600/800 box art right now, too.
1972coronet Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Thanks for sharing these photos , Neil . I spy the Touchtone Terror A-100 (isn't this the coveted version ; the one with the phone booth ? Stands to reason given its nomanclature ...) . Dig that groovy box art ! Then there's the Race tyres and wheels ... YES !!! It's great to see some vintage wheels in the mix . And , last but certainly not least : Lawman !! Looks like another sublime year from Round2 . Thanks again , Neil !
Monty Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 (edited) Look at the box on the far right (what you can see of it, that is). Are these the Polyglas GT tires I've been trying to get them to release separately? Anybody know if they're doing both sizes in one pack, or...? Edited April 22, 2013 by Monty
High octane Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 There goes my spending budget and I was doing pretty well lately. Oh well.
slusher Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Some good news and kits to look forward to thanks...
Porscheman Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I need about 10 boxes Look at the box on the far right (what you can see of it, that is). Are these the Polyglas GT tires I've been trying to get them to release separately? Anybody know if they're doing both sizes in one pack, or...?
Sixx Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 There goes my spending budget and I was doing pretty well lately. Oh well. Man, me too !!!!!!!! Geez, some cool stuff there!!!!
Brett Barrow Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Hey hey! I knew the Lawman would see the light of day!!!

I saw those , too , but was more initially impressed by the main piece here : those cool vintage wheels with vintage tyres included ! I wonder if Round2 would be *interested* in producing other 'stand alone' wheels which'll work with their gorgeous tyres ... Just think about it : Motor Wheels' Spyders , Cragar GT's , Ansen Sprints ...
azers Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I might have to sell one of the 1:1 projects. Too much too much. Wallet hurts.
martinfan5 Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Looks like my wallet is going to be a little better off, although I do kind of like the surf buggy kit
kalbert Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 It kind of looks like the Polyglas on top is smaller than the one on bottom. Either way I'm down for a couple sets and the gasser sets too!
VW Dave Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 It kind of looks like the Polyglas on top is smaller than the one on bottom. Either way I'm down for a couple sets and the gasser sets too! Pretty sure they were all the same size in the box....and they looked fantastic too. Can't wait!
hvymtl Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Blood donations and maybe a kidney or a splein or something to make money for new stuff Michael
Rob Hall Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 On another forum an MPC '78 AMC Pacer was also pictured.
Nitro Neil Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 Rob, yes their was an AMC Pacer on the table, but I refused to waste any pixels on an AMC of any kind.
Casey Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Pat Redmond's pics: I see they are doing the faux-retro box art thing with the Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins '66 Nova kit, too:
Casey Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Which Blazer kit was next to the Pacer kit? The little tag says "Coming Soon", but the snap Blazer is available now, so maybe a different Blazer kit? I can make out the vertical "BLAZER" on the right hand edge of the box top (near the left edge of the Pacer's box) but it's a different box than the snap kit's.
Danno Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Little better view of the Camaro box. This looks like legitimate Round2 box art, as opposed to the faux or fictional box previously posted. Also looks like a Camaro body sitting on the table in front of the box. (It looks from here like it has a pushbar. Hopefully it's added, not molded in place.) Anybody get a closer shot of box art or the body?
gtx6970 Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 The Polyglas tire sets , are they all F60's or all L60's or a mixture of each ? 8 to a a pkg I assume ? And I assume the pad printed blue stripe slicks are only going to be packaged as a set of 2 slicks 2 ft tires and wheels ? I for one would MUCH rather have 8 pack sets of the slicks similar to the current sets ,,,, I have very little use the gasser wheels

Mystkit.jpg I think that is the MPC 'Rescue Blazer' snap kit that was just reissued. Some online vendors show it as available now.
