Wonderbread Kustomz Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Finished this earlier tonight. Rustoleum ruddy brown primer, salt method, followed by Krylon satin pistachio, knocked the salt off and then used some acrylic paint and a sponge. Notched frame and modified the front suspension to set it in the weeds.... Something I'd rock in all day long....
realgone58 Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Really came out convincing. I love the moldy look. I'm going to have to try the salt method.
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Nice touch with the hood weathered worse than the rest of it. Engine heat actually had exactly that effect on old paint.
Taxdude Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Just a little effort and that will buff out. Nice job.
